ところどころ誤訳かな？と思うところが…
changeをチャンスと訳してるのは明らかな間違いですが

×「あなたを知ろうとすることは間違い」
○「あなたは自分が間違っていたと知った（気づいた）」
私も同じところが気になりました。
“that”を補うと分かると思います。
Finding (that) you can change ー 自分が変われるってことが分かり
Learning (that) you were wrong ー (今までの)自分の考えが間違ってたと知るなんて
