Amazing Grace,
how sweet the sound,
That saved a wretch like me…
I once was lost but now am found
Was blind, but now I see.

T’was Grace that taught…
My heart to fear
And Grace, my fears relieved.
How precious did that grace appear
The hour I first believed.

Through many dangers,
toils and snares
We have already come.

なんという甘美な響きだろうか
私ごとき哀れな者を救いたまえ…
私は一度見失い、今再び見つけた
盲目だったが、今は見えている

それは教えられた恵みだった…
私の心は恐怖におののく
そして天の恵みが私の恐怖を振り払った
なんと素晴らしい恩恵だろうか
その時、私は始めて信仰を持った

多くの災難、
苦労や誘惑を通り過ぎ
私達はついに来た
それは天の恵みだった
こんな遠くまで私達を安全に送り届けてくれた
そしてその恵みは我々を故郷へと導くだろう

主は私に良き約束をしてくれた
彼の言葉は私に希望と安心を与え
私の盾となり食料となる
この命の続く限り

私達がここに来てから
1000年の時が過ぎた
太陽のごとく光り輝いている
私達は素晴らしい日々がある
神への賛美を歌おう
私達の創世の時のように
